Genre Decision!

Image
After much deliberation between the two of us we have decided to go with a coming of age movie. There were a couple reasons as to why we thought this would work the best. The first one thing reason is that we can use younger actors without having to make them seem older. Coming of age movies are by definition movies about people teens growing up and the lessons they learn from that. So instead of having all of our teenage friends play adults, it’s much easier for us to play teenagers since that’s our actual age. The second reason is that it matched our pitch. Just a reminder out pitch is about two high schoolers who throw the party of the year but when they wake up the next morning they realize the entire house was robbed. Since the setting is at Highschool party it and the two younger characters are going to learn some valuable lessons from their actions, this genre seemed to fit perfectly. Our third main reason for choosing a coming of age movie is the simplicity of them. Unlike scie...

Our Pitch

Image
Pitch 1: ·        The party of the century turns into the biggest mystery when the two who threw it can’t remember a thing in the morning... We will need to get a decent amount of background characters for it to look like a party. We will have to move everything for one of the scenes to make it look like everything went missing. We’ll cut music when the scene transitions from the party to the next day. We will have some of the names be labels on the drinks. Well have one of the into the pool and the camera followed them into the water and it would show one of the names. We’ll do about 30 seconds intro, a minute of party footage, and 30 seconds with the next day roughly, subject to change. It will be filmed like a documentary by the two people throwing the party, as well as a regular movie.    Pitch 2:  ·        When a boy wakes up 70 years in the past with no memory of how she got here, how will she ever g...
